What is Widows Wings Ministry?

The Widows Wings Ministry of Upper Room Ministries was created several years ago by one of our Pastors in direct effort to obey God’s Word by showing love to the widows and widowers of North Central Florida and around the U.S.

How does Widows Wings Ministry show love to Widows and Widowers?

We shower down blessings and encouragement to those who have experienced the death of their spouse.
We assign you to a loving Guardian Angel who will contact you and help to meet your felt needs.
We host bi-monthly Widows Wings Fellowship Luncheons. Just call us, we provide transportation.
During the luncheons, we provide a relaxed atmosphere so you can enjoy fellowshipping with other widows or widowers
During the luncheons, we provide community information to assist you with any financial, health, or social needs.

How long do I have to be widowed to be part of Widows Wings Ministry?

You can be a widow for any length of time.

We offer a variety of ways you can help widows and widowers in North Central Florida. Through your gift of time, in-kind, or financial support, can make a difference in the lives of the widows we serve annually.

Your tax-deductible donation will demonstrate your commitment to abused and neglected children. Monetary donations help fund extra-curricular activities for widows, help us provide for the widow’s that are financial distress, the future Widows’ Wings Nest (a recreational and residential shelter), and much more. There's no shortage of need for the widows that we serve.
